Day 01: ARRIVE COLOMBO – HABARANA.
Arrive Colombo and drive to Habarana (3-4 hours), en route visit the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. (D)
Day 02: HABARANA.
Morning excursion to the first ancient capital – Anuradhapura (2 hours).
Afternoon visit Mihintale, a mountain peak near Anuradhapura, where it is believed to be site of a meeting between the Buddhist monk Mahinda and King Devanampiyatissa which inaugurated the presence of Buddhism in Sri Lanka. (B, D)
Day 03: HABARANA.
Morning visit and climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a “World Heritage Site” and the 5th Century “Fortress in the Sky” which is perhaps the most fantastic single wonder of the Island. Also know as the Lion Rock. Afternoon visit the second ancient capital – Polonnaruwa, another “World Heritage Site” was the Capital of Sri Lanka from 11th – 13th Centuries, contains some splendid and spectacular statues. (B, D)
Day 04: HABARANA – KANDY.
Morning drive to Kandy, visit en route the Dambulla Rock Cave Temple, a vast isolated rock mass 500 feet high and a mile around the base. Kandy is the erstwhile hill capital. Tour of Kandy and highlight is the Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha. Enjoy a Cultural Dance Performance. (B, D)
Day 05: KANDY- GALLE.
Morning drive to Galle, visit en route the Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya. Galle is Sri Lanka’s most historically interesting town. Afternoon enjoy Galle City tour. (B, L, D)
Day 06: GALLE.

Day 07: GALLE – COLOMBO – HOME.
Drive to Colombo and fly Home. (B)
